Candice Tylke

Candice Tylke

The Candice E. Tylke Scholarship was established in 2008 through an estate gift from Candice Tylke, a UW Oshkosh alumna who graduated with a BS in biology in 1994. Candice was raised in West Allis, WI and graduated from West Milwaukee High School in 1984. She was a veteran firefighter and paramedic for the City of Beloit and had experience as a flight paramedic as well. She was the first female firefighter to graduate from Madison Area Technical College, and continued to be a positive example throughout her life. She passed away July 26, 2008 at the age of 42.
