E. Alan & Diana Hartman

E. Alan Hartman earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UW-Madison and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in quantitative and social psychology from Michigan State University. Al was a professor at UW Oshkosh for 38 years, as well as serving as the dean of the College of Business from 1995 to 2008. Al’s wife, Diana Hartman, graduated from UW Oshkosh with a bachelor of business administration degree in 1980. She worked as a human resources manager at UW Oshkosh from 1986 until her retirement in 2008.

Alan and Diana established two scholarships in 1996, the Edwin J. & Dorothy M. Hartman Scholarship in honor of his parents, two individuals who, while unable to attend college themselves, supported and encouraged the education of others and the Robert and Kathleen Lindgren Scholarship in honor of her parents, who supported and encouraged the education of all those in their lives.

Scholarships
