Elaine Bandy

Elaine Bandy, along with supply chain and operations management faculty, established the Dr. D. Brent Bandy Scholarship in 2009 in honor of her late husband.

Dr. D. Brent Bandy retired from UW Oshkosh in 2007, after 23 years as a faculty member in the College of Business. In addition to his role as a faculty member, he published research throughout his career, focusing on simulation modeling and approaches for teaching management information systems and operations management concepts. He also served on the faculty review and development committee, the academic computing users group, was team leader of operations management and the faculty advisor for the APICS student club and the Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship student club. Dr. Bandy was honored by the UW Oshkosh College of Business as Outstanding Faculty in 2008.

Dr. Bandy was an avid sports fan and enjoyed traveling with his wife throughout the United States and abroad, spending time with his grandchildren, and being involved in the community through teaching Adult Bible Fellowships at Calvary Bible Church and working with the children in KidCare. Dr. Bandy passed away in 2008.
