Eve Wojahn

Eve (Detry) Wojahn established the Dennis V. Detry Student-Employee Scholarship in 2000 in memory of her late husband, Dennis.

Dennis V. Detry, Ed.D. was the Associate Director of Financial Aid at UW Oshkosh for 20 years until his death on February 6, 2000. He received a bachelor of science degree from UW Oshkosh in 1967 and a masters and doctorate in counselor education from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.

For Dennis, UW Oshkosh students always came first and because of this philosophy, he made a difference in many lives. He particularly enjoyed interacting with and mentoring the student’ workers in the Financial Aid Office. With this scholarship, his family desires to honor his commitment to assisting students in attaining their college degree.
