Family and Friends of Danielle Jones

The Danielle S. Jones Student Leader Inclusive Excellence Award was established in 2017 by Danielle’s family, friends, and coworkers. Danielle passed away unexpectedly in March 2017.

Danielle joined UW Oshkosh in 2013 as a program adviser for diversity and inclusion programs in Reeve Memorial Union. In September 2016, she joined the Dean of Students Office as an assistant dean of students, where she worked to ensure the success of students with documented disabilities. Danielle also served as co-chair and member of the Gender Equity Council, adviser of the Social Justice Club, SAFE Training facilitator with the LGBTQ+ Resource Center, and as a $tart $mart Salary Negotiation workshop facilitator.

Prior to her time at UW Oshkosh, Danielle worked for Lehigh University, the University of Central Missouri, Barnard College, and Michigan Technological University. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan Technological University and a master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri.
