Family and Friends of Robert Nash
The Robert T. Nash Scholarship was established in 1998 in honor of Dr. Nash’s work. Dr. Nash was a special education professor and was the founder of Project Success, a program for students with dyslexia attending the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He was the program’s director from 1979 to 1998. His tireless work and devotion to the remediation of dyslexia were greatly appreciated by students and parents of students who benefited from the program. In 1998, he took on the challenge of helping teach his simultaneous multisensory phonics methodology to students and teachers in the Milwaukee Public Schools. Dr. Nash passed away in 2017.
