Family and Friends of Russ Young

The Russ Young Leadership Award was established in memory of Russ Young, head football coach at UW Oshkosh from 1963 to 1976. Coach Young left a legacy of leadership and commitment to excellence, both on and off the field. He embraced the values of fair competition, mentoring others, leading by example, and leaving a positive impact on student athletes at UW Oshkosh long after they left the playing field. Russ passed away in 1983.
