Family and Friends of Russ Young

The Russ Young Leadership Award was established in memory of Russ Young, head football coach at UW-Oshkosh from 1963 to 1976. Coach Young left a legacy of leadership and commitment to excellence, both on and off the field. He embraced the values of fair competition, mentoring others, leading by example, and leaving a positive impact on student athletes at UW-Oshkosh long after they left the playing field. Russ passed away in 1983.
