Hugh Jones

Hugh B. Jones (1928-1991) graduated from Redgranite High School in 1946. He received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from UW Oshkosh in 1950 and a master’s degree in mathematics from UW-Milwaukee in 1968. Hugh taught mathematics at Berlin High School from 1950 to 1955 and was employed as a computer programmer and computer instructor at General Motors Corp. in Milwaukee and Warren, Michigan for 27 years. After retiring, he returned to Redgranite and served on the Redgranite Elementary School District Board for two years in the early 1950’s. Hugh established the Hugh B. Jones Scholarship through an estate gift.
