James Fischer

James H. Fischer graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1970 with a bachelor’s degree in zoology. He retired from AT&T in 2011 after working 35 years in information technology. After his retirement, he started volunteering at Luther Manor Retirement Center in Wauwatosa in their Jump Start classes, which help individuals with early onset Alzheimer’s and dementia. He also teaches them German. James established the James H. Fischer Family Scholarship in 2013 to encourage high school graduates to continue their education.
