James Schneider

James Schneider graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in international studies and received his master’s degree in history in 1974. He is a Professor Emeritus of Military Theory, retired from the School of Advanced Military Studies, United States Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. James established the Peggy Spees Schneider Nursing Scholarship in memory of his late wife.

Peggy Schneider (1949-1976) graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse and a member of the Professional Patient Care Wisconsin Nursing Association.
