Jeri & Larry Borgard

Jeri (Doemel) Borgard, BSN ’97 and her husband Larry, MBA ’95 established the Jeri (Doemel) Borgard Nursing Scholarship in 2020 to support full-time nursing students with financial need. Jeri was a 35-year-old, first-generation college student when she enrolled at UW Oshkosh. A single woman working full-time and relying on student loans, she was surprised and grateful to receive a scholarship, which helped pay for her textbooks. Jeri says, “Getting my nursing degree was the most important thing in the world to me. I graduated magna cum laude and loved my career.”
