Lucile Morton Grams

Lucile Morton Grams (1910-2004) graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1932 with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. She was a teacher and a long-time philanthropist. In 2004, Lucile was honored by the Women’s Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation as a recipient of the Women in Philanthropy Award. She was a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood, AAUW, and the Lioness and the Green Lake Festival of Music. She also served on the Board of Trustees at Pace-Brantley Hall School in Longwood, FL. She established the Lucile Morton Grams Scholarship in 1997 in memory of her husband, John.

John Burnham Morton (1901-1970) worked at Oshkosh Truck Corporation as a field service representative and consulting engineer. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Oriental Chapter 16 of Eastern Star.
