Marjorie Kundiger

Marjorie Kundiger earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1968 and her master’s degree in counseling in 1970 at UW Oshkosh. She began her career in social services in Milwaukee’s inner city, before moving to Oregon. Marjorie helped to create the Women’s Resource Center, now known as SAFE of Columbia County. She completed her professional career as an educator and counselor aiding displaced workers at Lower Columbia College.

Marjorie enjoyed her rural home where she farmed and grew an organic garden and raised goats, chickens, and rabbits. Marjorie passed away in 2015 and established the Marjorie Kundiger Scholarship through an estate gift.
