NEW Manufacturing Alliance

NEW Manufacturing Alliance

The NEW Manufacturing Alliance is a non-profit organization comprised of manufacturers who work together with educational institutions, workforce boards, economic development, and state organizations to promote manufacturing in northeast Wisconsin. The Alliance works to attract, develop, and retain the highly-skilled workers critical to the manufacturing industry in northeast Wisconsin.

As a key collaborator of UW Oshkosh, the Alliance helped in the development and implementation of three new engineering technology degrees at UW Oshkosh: electrical, environmental, and mechanical. Through the Alliance, engineering technology students have valuable access to member companies for training and internships.

The Alliance established the NEW Manufacturing Alliance Engineering Tech Future ALL STARS Scholarship in 2014 to provide students the opportunity and resources to pursue an engineering technology degree. They believe in the importance of investing in the future workforce to strengthen and enhance the entire Northeast Wisconsin area. They established the NEW Manufacturing Alliance Technology Education Scholarship in 2020 to support students enrolled in the new Technology and Engineering Education collaborative program between Fox Valley Technical College and UW Oshkosh. They established the NEW Manufacturing Alliance Automation Engineering Scholarship in 2024 to support students in UWO’s new automation engineering program.
