Renee & Tom Boldt

Renee Boldt earned an MSE in elementary education from UW Oshkosh in 1991. After earning her degree, Renee continued to be involved on campus, serving as a board member for the former Center for Applied Research and Services, Inc. (later renamed the Business Success Center) and serving on the campaign cabinet for the pride.purpose.promise capital campaign.

Tom Boldt, chief executive officer of The Boldt Company, earned his BA from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. He has served as past president of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters and past president of the Academy Foundation.

Renee and Tom are recognized throughout Wisconsin for philanthropy and innovative leadership in arts and culture, as well as community and civic programs. The entire Boldt Family, including Tom and Renee, along with Tom’s parents, Oscar and Patricia Boldt, were honored with the Governor’s Award in Support of the Arts in 2006 in the individual leadership category.

Renee and Tom are enthusiastic advocates for education. Their belief in the lifelong value of higher education inspired them to establish the Renee and Tom Boldt Scholarship in 2009 to help highly motivated students achieve their educational goals.
