Rod Edmonds
Rod Edmonds established the Dr. Dwight M. Edmonds Scholarship in memory of his father in 1999.
Dr. Dwight Edmonds was a member of the UW Oshkosh accounting faculty from 1971 to 1982. A native of Powell, Wyoming, Dr. Edmonds received a bachelor’s degree in business education from Eastern Montana University, an MBA from the University of Denver, and a doctorate in accounting from UW-Madison. He was appointed associate dean of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business graduate program in 1973. He was later named the accounting department chair. A 1981 recipient of the University’s Distinguished Teaching Award, he stressed the importance of making learning an enjoyable experience. Dwight resigned from UW Oshkosh in 1982 to teach at Wilfred Laurier University in Ontario, and later retired to live in Wyoming. He passed away in 1998.
