The Arend Family

Steven J. Arend and Mary S. Arend (née Asman) graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1978 and 1979, respectively. Both earned BBA degrees in Accounting. In 2017, their son, Matthew J. Arend, graduated from UW Oshkosh with a BBA degree in Accounting and Information Systems. All three went on to pass the CPA exam. Steven and Matthew also went on to pass the CMA exam.

To recognize and give back for the excellent education they received from the UW Oshkosh College of Business, the Arend Family was pleased to establish the Arend Family Accounting Scholarship. It is awarded to an outstanding College of Business student majoring in Accounting.
