The Bonell Family

Jamie Bonell along with her daughters, Kelly and Kori, established the Bonell Family Nursing Scholarship in 2014 with a focus on healthcare promotion and wellness in the community. The Bonell family exemplifies promotion of caring for our population as leadership role models.

Jamie, BSN ’83, MSN ’86; Kelly, BSN ’98; and Kori, BSN ’99 are all graduates of the UW Oshkosh College of Nursing. In addition to her work in healthcare, Jamie has advocated for changes in the healthcare industry after becoming the state representative for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She helped to change laws so that nurse practitioners could prescribe medicine for patients.
