The Roskom Family

The Gladys Roskom Excellence in Elementary Education Scholarship was established in 2021, in memory of Glady Roskom, a long-time elementary school teacher in the Appleton and Kimberly School Districts. Mrs. Roskom earned her first teaching degree from the Outagamie County Teacher’s College and then her bachelor’s degree from the Wisconsin State University – Oshkosh. In her tenure as a teacher, Mrs. Roskom touched many, many lives. As a tribute to her longtime dedication to the education of children, her family instituted this scholarship to help education students in their pursuit of an education degree, who will, in turn, have a positive impact on even more children.
