Thomas & Antoinette Brinkman

Thomas and Antoinette Brinkman are generous supporters of the UW Oshkosh College of Business. In 2000, they donated $25,000 to establish the SMEF program and the Brinkman Scholarship, a fund managed by SMEF. The SMEF program provides hands-on investment management experience and gives students the opportunity to make investment decisions using real money under the supervision of a finance faculty member. In February 2020, the Brinkmans made a gift of almost $105,000 to their scholarship fund, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the SMEF program, to bring SMEF program assets over $1 million.

Thomas graduated from UW Oshkosh in 1965 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and has spent his career as a real estate investor. He married Antoinette Candela, who graduated from Mount Mary University and began work as a fashion buyer.
