Thomas & Carole Guyette
Thomas Guyette earned his bachelor of business administration in 1968 from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He was honored by the College of Business as an outstanding alumnus in 2008. His wife, Carole, is also an alumna of UW Oshkosh, earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 1968.
Thomas has served as a financial adviser, manager, and partner with Merrill Lynch for thirty five years. He managed the Merrill Lynch office in Green Bay for nearly twenty years, and grew the office to twenty five individuals while fostering a culture of excellence and integrity. Thomas and his son, Brannon, are partners in the Guyette Financial Group.
Thomas is driven by a desire to volunteer his time and talents to his community. He has served as president of the Neville Public Museum and treasurer of both the Notre Dame Academy Board of Education and the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce. Thomas has been a member and past president of the Downtown Rotary Club of Green Bay. He serves on the finance committee of Old St. Joseph’s Church in De Pere and is a member of the UW Oshkosh Foundation Board of Directors. Thomas received the Merrill Lynch Lifetime Community Achievement Award in 2002. For the past several years, he has served as chairman to the local Merrill Lynch Grand Gala, which generated over $600,000 over six years for various charities and organizations in the Green Bay community.
Thomas and Carole established the Guyette Family Scholarship in 2010 to support business and education students who have demonstrated involvement in the community.
