William Haidlinger

William George Haidlinger served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1958 with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. He was employed by Neenah High School for eight years, where he was beloved by his students. William also worked for American Can for 10 years, in research and development, and taught a pulp and paper course at Fox Valley Technical College for 14 years. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. William passed away in 2013 and established the William Haidlinger Scholarship through an estate gift.
