Nevin James Public Speaking Contest Award

This award is given to the winners of the Communication Studies Department’s annual public speaking contest, held each December. One student from each COMM 111 class is selected to compete, based on a persuasive policy speech prepared for that course. Speeches are judged based on content and delivery. Recipient must enroll as an undergraduate student at the Oshkosh campus in Spring 2024 in order to receive the award.
