Gary Coll Journalism Fellowship

This fellowship provides financial assistance to Department of Journalism students for professional opportunities. Funding may be used to partially cover travel and related expenses for the following opportunities: 1) an internship or job shadow at a prominent journalism/advertising organization in a distant city; 2) a journalism/advertising conference; or 3) an academic competition for journalism/advertising students. Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate enrolled the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must have a declared major or minor within the Department of Journalism, must have completed at least 60 credits, and must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. GPA is one of the key selection criteria. This award will be paid in the semester in which the recipient is participating in the opportunity.
