Halsey Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Admit Term: Summer 2026 or Fall 2026
• Grade Level: High School Senior
• Enrollment Status: Full-time upon enrollment
• Intended Major: Education
• Must be a graduate of a public high school in Oshkosh, WI

Selection is based on the applicant’s desire to become a teacher.

Award Payment: Fall 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.

Award Renewal: Recipients are eligible to receive three award renewals beyond the initial installment provided they meet the following criteria:

• Maintain full-time enrollment at UWO
• Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
• Continue to pursue an education degree
• Sufficient funding is available to support award renewal
