UW Oshkosh Excellence in Economics Award

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate enrolled at the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must be admitted, or have applied for spring admission, to the College of Business. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in economics. Any degree type is eligible (BBA, BS, BA). Applicant must have at least sophomore standing at the time of application. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA both overall and in their major. Applicant must demonstrate leadership and involvement within the department of economics, as well as within the University as a whole and the community. Due to NCAA Division III regulations, athletic leadership, ability, participation, or performance cannot be considered in the awarding of scholarships. Previous recipients are not eligible to apply for the award in subsequent years. Selection will be primarily based on academic achievement with secondary consideration given to leadership and involvement. This award will be paid out in Spring 2025.
