Winnebago County Mental Health Research Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full- or part-time graduate student
• Declared Major: Doctor of Nursing Practice
• Minimum 3.5 GPA in nursing
• Must be pursuing a DNP capstone project related to mental health
• Must be graduating in Spring 2026
• Must be a Wisconsin resident.

Selection is based on academic achievement, career goals, and the applicant’s potential in the field. Preference will be given to applicants currently working in the mental health field. Preference will be given to Winnebago County and Northeast Wisconsin residents.

Award Payment: Spring 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
