Dan Grady Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2020 in memory of Dan Grady. Father to Taryn Grady, brother to Colleen Booth, Kelly Hampson, and Nick Grady, and son to James and Elizabeth Grady, Dan took his own life on July 31, 2014. This scholarship was established in hopes of assisting students who are looking to pursue a career in the mental health field that benefits others who are in need of assistance in a time of crisis.
Applicant must be an undergraduate student enrolled in at least nine credits at the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must be a degree-seeking student and must be pursuing a career in the mental health field. It is preferred that the applicant is majoring in nursing, psychology, social work, or sociology. Applicant must have at least junior standing and must have a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA. This award will be split evenly between the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. If the recipient is not enrolled in the spring semester, the second installment will be forfeited.
