J. Edward Power Award for Academic Excellence in Social Work

Recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled at UW Oshkosh. Recipient must be entering their senior year of the BSW program and must be in good standing. Students must by nominated for this award by Department of Social Work faculty members, adhering to all University and UW Oshkosh Foundation policies. Self-nominations will not be accepted. Nominations should include a brief essay outlining the nominee’s qualifications for the scholarship and detailing their active involvement in advocating for the individuals they represent. The nomination process is completed outside Academic Works. This award will be paid out in Spring 2025.
