EY Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

  • Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate or incoming freshman admitted for Summer 2026 or Fall 2026
  • Declared Major: Accounting, Information Systems, or Pre-Business (must plan to declare an Accounting or IS major once eligible)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (GPA for incoming students will be based on high school or transfer GPA)
  • Must have less than senior standing
  • Must have financial need based on a statement
  • Must demonstrate involvement in volunteer and/or extracurricular activities
  • Previous recipients are eligible to apply. However, students may only receive the award two times.

Selection is primarily based on extracurricular and volunteer involvement and an interest in pursuing a career in professional services. Academic achievement and financial need will be of secondary consideration.

Award Payment: Fall 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.

Make sure to provide detailed information regarding the resources you have to pay for college (scholarships, loans, VA benefits, employer benefits, etc.), your efforts to fund your education (how many hours you typically work per week, how long you’ve been employed, etc), and your remaining amount of financial need.
