Mary Ellen and Norman Frenzel Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student
• Declared Major: Education; Undergraduates must be officially admitted to the Teacher Education Program
• Must have financial need based on the FAFSA
• Preference will be given to:
  Undergraduates: non-traditional students (age 25 or older) enrolled in elementary or secondary education programs. For secondary education applicants, greater preference will be given to English, art, and music majors.
  Graduate Students: students involved in a research project or thesis

Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need.

Award Payment: Fall 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
