Tax Executives Institute, Northeast Wisconsin Chapter Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate
• Declared Major: Accounting, must be officially admitted to the School of Business
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be a Wisconsin resident
• Must have completed ACCT 403 – Federal Income Taxation by the semester of award payment
• Must demonstrate a high level of achievement through academic and extracurricular activities (excluding athletics)
• Recipient will be expected to attend a Tax Executives Institute Chapter meeting to acknowledge their award

Selection is based on academic achievement and extracurricular participation. Consideration will be given to the applicant’s efforts to provide for their educational costs, their involvement in volunteer activities, and/or other life challenges. Preference will be given to students with a demonstrated interest in taxation. Due to NCAA Division III regulations, athletic leadership, ability, participation, or performance cannot be considered in the awarding of scholarships.

Award Payment: Spring 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
