Maestro Henri Pensis Award

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Admit Term: Summer 2026 or Fall 2026
• Admit Type: Incoming Freshman
• Enrollment Status: Full- or part-time upon enrollment
• Intended Major: Music
• Must have a primary applied instrument of oboe. If no qualified oboist is available, the award will be granted to an orchestral strings student.
• Must be in the upper third of their graduating class
• Recipient must join the UW-Oshkosh orchestra and must remain a member in good standing

This award will be made based on student’s scholarship audition; no application is required. Selection is based on excellence of musicianship, outstanding skills as a performer, academic achievement, and commitment to the study of music.

Award Payment: Fall 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
