Joan Luce Scholarship for Orchestral Strings

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full- or part-time undergraduate or incoming student admitted for Summer 2026 or Fall 2026
• Declared Major/Minor: Music or Music Education with a primary applied instrument of orchestral strings (defined as violin, viola, cello, double bass, or harp)

This award is given at the discretion of the UWO Music Program based on the students’ scholarship auditions; no application is required. Preference will be given to Music or Music Education majors.

Award Payment: Split evenly between Fall 2026 & Spring 2027. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
