This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

  • Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate
  • Declared Major: Any major within the School of STEM major
  • Minimum 3.3 GPA overall and a minimum 3.0 GPA in their major
  • Minimum 65 credits completed
  • Must demonstrate financial need. Applicant must have a FAFSA on file, if eligible. If ineligible to file, applicant must submit a statement regarding their financial situation.
  • Previous recipients are not eligible to apply

Selection is based on academic achievement, financial need, academic extracurricular activities, and long-term goals. Preference will be given to students who do not have as many financial aid opportunities and financial resources to pay for college as the average student. In the event of equally qualified applicants, financial need will be the deciding factor.

Award Payment: Fall 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
