Laura Bixby Miazga Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate
• Declared Major: BSN (any program), must be officially admitted to the Nursing Program
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must have financial need based on the FAFSA. Students who are not eligible to file the FAFSA will be considered based on a statement describing their need for financial support.

Selection is primarily based on financial need. Academic achievement is also a consideration. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to become a labor and delivery nurse after graduation.

Award Payment: Fall 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
