Gary Coll Journalism Fellowship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

  • Enrollment Status: Full-time undergraduate
  • Declared Major/Minor: Advertising, Multimedia Journalism, or Public Relations
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Minimum 60 credits completed
  • Must be seeking funding to partially cover travel and related expenses for the following opportunities: 1) an internship or job shadow at a prominent journalism/advertising organization in a distant city; 2) a journalism/advertising conference; or 3) an academic competition for journalism/advertising students

Selection is based on academic achievement and need for support.

Award Payment: Semester of opportunity. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
