Candice E. Tylke Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

  • Enrollment Status: Full- or half-time undergraduate or incoming freshman admitted for Spring 2026, Summer 2026, or Fall 2026
  • Declared Major: Fire and Emergency Response Management

Selection is based on financial need, leadership experience, and community service. Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in fire science/paramedic service. Preference will also be given to fire science graduates of the Madison College and employees of Beloit, WI or St. Francis, WI fire departments.

Award Payment: Split evenly between Fall 2026 & Spring 2027. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
