Rita M. Barta Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full- or part-time undergraduate or an incoming student admitted for Summer 2026 or Fall 2026
• Declared Major: BSN
• Minimum GPA: 3.0
• Must have financial need based on the FAFSA
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be a single parent

Selection is based primarily on financial need. Preference will be given to applicants who are currently or were previously enlisted in the military or whose parent is currently or was previously enlisted in the military.

Award Payment: Fall 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
