Maestro Henri Pensis Award

This award was established in honor of Professor Henri Pensis in recognition of his 30 years of service on the faculty of the department of music. Applicant must be an entering freshman oboe major. Applicant must be in the upper third of his or her graduating class and must demonstrate excellence of musicianship and outstanding skills as a performer. If no qualified oboist is available, the award will be granted to an orchestral string student meeting the same standards described above. The recipient must join the UW Oshkosh orchestra and must remain a member in good standing.
