Candice E. Tylke Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Candice Tylke, a UW Oshkosh alumna who graduated with a BS in biology in 1994. Applicant must be admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Studies Fire and Emergency Response Management program at the Oshkosh campus. Those applicants with prior experience in the fire science/paramedic service will be given preference. First priority will be given to female applicants. Second priority will be given to fire science graduates of the Madison College, and third, employees of Beloit, Wisconsin or St. Francis, Wisconsin fire departments. Recipient must be returning for the full academic year following the year of application in order to receive the entire award amount. If the recipient graduates or is no longer enrolled in the FERM program after the fall semester, the spring installment will be forfeited. Recipient must be enrolled in at least six credits each semester to receive the scholarship disbursement.
