John E. Strous and Mary M. Rigney Medical Technology Scholarship

This fund is named for John E. Strous, UW Oshkosh medical technology program director from 1991 to 2017, and Mary M. Rigney, medical technology program director from 1985 to 1991. Applicant must be a full-time medical technology major enrolled at the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must be accepted for clinical training at one of the University’s Affiliated Hospital Schools of Medical Technology. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership abilities, future plans and potential, and extracurricular activities (excluding athletics). Primary overall consideration is to be given to the applicant with the greatest potential to positively impact the Medical Laboratory Science profession in the future. This award will be paid out in Fall 2022.
