Vicki Lord Larson Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship was established in honor of Vicki Lord Larson, the first woman to serve as Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at UW Oshkosh. Applicant must be a female undergraduate enrolled at the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must have earned between 30 and 80 credits at the time of application, with at least half of the credits earned at UW Oshkosh. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 UWO cumulative GPA. Applicant must demonstrate contributions to the University and community with preference given to students who show leadership in activities focused on women (excluding athletic participation). Activities can be, but are not limited to, working for equal rights for women, volunteering in organizations that support women and their families, raising awareness of women’s health issues, engaging in women’s social issues, or participating as a leader in issues of concern to both men and women, but traditionally labeled “women’s issues.” Financial need based on the FAFSA will be of secondary consideration only. This award will be paid out in Fall 2021.
