Harvey Milk LGBTQ+ Scholarship

This scholarship is named for the first openly gay person elected to a substantial political office. Applicant must be a student who identifies as LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, pansexual, polyamorous, asexual, non-binary, etc). Applicant must be admitted to or enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at UW Oshkosh. Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac campus students are eligible. Applicant must be in good academic standing. Recipients are strongly recommended to attend the Harvey Milk Commemorative Dinner, where the scholarships will be presented. This award will be split evenly between the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters. If the recipient is not enrolled in the spring semester, the second installment will be forfeited.
