Verner E. Suomi Scholarship Award

This award was created by the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) to honor of Professor Verner E. Suomi’s lifelong commitment to the education of undergraduate students. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who plans to enroll in any University of Wisconsin System undergraduate program in the physical sciences. Preference may be given to students pursuing one of the following programs: meteorology, earth science, oceanography, physics, astronomy, science or math education, environmental science, or engineering.
