ArtsCore Scholarship for Future Teachers

This scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen and incoming undergraduate transfer students who plan to major in education and have an interest in arts-integrated instruction. Applicant must be admitted to the Oshkosh campus for Spring 2024, Summer 2024, or Fall 2024. Students transferring from the Fond du Lac or Fox Cities campuses are eligible to apply. Incoming freshmen must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative high school GPA and incoming transfer students must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative transfer GPA. Applicant must demonstrate commitment to, and potential for, a successful career as a professional educator and an intent to participate in ArtsCore initiatives to develop and share effective arts-integrated teaching strategies. Preference will be given to applicants from PK-12 partner school districts.

Recipient must be enrolled full-time in Fall 2024 to receive the award. The recipient is eligible to receive the scholarship for up to four years, provided the recipient remains in good academic standing, continues to meet the requirements of the award, and funding is available.

  5. Please upload an unofficial copy of your high school transcript (incoming freshman applicants) or your undergraduate transcript (incoming transfer applicants). Your transcript should include courses you are enrolled in for the current academic year.
  6. You must provide the name and email of two individuals (non-relatives) who have agreed to serve as references to support your application. Your references must comment on your promise and potential.
