Bernice Bolek Scholarship for Social Work and Mental Health

This scholarship was established in 1997 in memory of Bernice Bolek, former director of Social Services at Winnebago Mental Health Institute. Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at the Oshkosh campus. Full-time enrolled is not required. Applicant must be majoring in social work, pursuing either a BSW or MSW degree. Applicant must be enrolled in Field I during the Fall 2022 semester and must be placed at an agency primarily providing mental health services for their agency practicum. Preference will be given to students placed at Winnebago Mental Health Institute. Applicant must demonstrate academic and practice potential in the field of mental health. This award will be paid out in Spring 2023.
