Jack and Jane Haugsland Freshman Leadership and Achievement Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Jack and Jane Haugsland to help students with financial need continue and complete their education. Applicant must be an incoming freshman admitted to the Oshkosh campus for Fall 2023. Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative high school GPA. Applicant must have need based on the FAFSA and must demonstrate leadership in non-political extra-curricular (excluding athletics), volunteer, or employment activities while enrolled in high school. Preference will be given to applicants from Brown, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, Outagamie, and Winnebago counties in WI. Preference will be given to students who plan to apply to the Honors College. This award will be split evenly between the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters. Recipient must be enrolled full-time to receive the award payment. If the recipient is not enrolled in the spring semester, the second installment will be forfeited. This award is renewable for an additional three years, provided the recipient maintains full-time enrollment, a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, and funding is available.
