Schierstedt Scholarship
Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate enrolled at the Oshkosh campus. Applicant must be admitted, or have applied for fall admission, to the College of Education and Human Services. Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement, must be in good standing with the University, and must have completed at least one semester of study at UW Oshkosh. Applicant must show financial need based on the FAFSA and must not be eligible for need-based grants (loans are acceptable). The applicant must have need of support to continue their education due to circumstances deemed beyond their control. This award will be split evenly between the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. If the recipient is not enrolled in the spring semester, the second installment will be forfeited.

- Please submit a statement describing your need for financial support to continue your education. Make sure to provide detailed information regarding the resources you have to pay for college (scholarships, loans, VA benefits, employer benefits, work, etc.) and your remaining amount of financial need.
- Please submit a statement describing your desire to receive a university degree in spite of adverse financial circumstances.
