Shirley M. Karlson Research Support Award

This scholarship is awarded to UWO students who meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment Status: Full- or part-time graduate student
• Declared Major: Any graduate nursing degree
• Must have an approved research proposal on file in the graduate program office, plans for data collection in the same or following semester, sound methodology, and research relevant to primary healthcare nursing

Selection is based on relevance of research to primary healthcare nursing and sound methodology.

Award Payment: Spring 2026. If the recipient is not enrolled in the required number of credits for the indicated semester, the award payment will be forfeited.
